Description
Job Summary: Overland Park, Kansas Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT). This role supports inpatient rehab by assisting with occupational therapy evaluations and occupational therapy treatments for acute and/or rehab patients. The assignment is weekend-focused and requires assistance on Saturday and Sunday. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days (8-hour shift), 40 hours per week; weekend assignment with assistance needed on Sat and Sun.
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapy Assistant designation; Basic Life Support (BCLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS).
- Responsibilities: Assist with occupational therapy evaluations and occupational therapy treatments; support care for acute care patients (810) and/or rehab patients (4); float across all units as scheduled.
- Additional Information: Float position for Occupational Therapy Assistant out of all units; the role will support Meditech Electronic Medical Record use and may use equipment including Hoyer, EZ Stands, BITS, and Xcite.
