Description
Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Round Rock, Texas
The organization is seeking two Respiratory Therapists for a 13-week contract on a Days schedule. Responsibilities include providing ventilator and BiPAP management, delivering aerosol therapies, performing CPT, and administering oxygen therapy. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours per shift, working a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapy license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); ICU and ER experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Additional Information: Call requirements: no weekends; weekends every other. Unit equipment includes ventilators (PB 980 and 840), BiPAP (V-60), and Siemens ABG instruments. Electronic medical record is Meditech. Permanent positions on the unit are available.
