Description
Job Summary: Ultrasonographer General (Travel) Kirksville, Missouri. This role provides timely diagnostic ultrasound services for both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 7a4:30p; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited AMA school; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and/or State License as a general radiographer; ARDMS required; Experience requirement: 2+ years; General ultrasound experience including abdomen, OB, breast, and thyroid.
- Preferred Qualifications: General, Abdomen, OB, Breast, and Thyroid experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms, as well as proficiency with scanning small parts (thyroid and breast) and performing ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations. No call required. No floating required. Scrubs may be any color. Blocked schedule cannot be accommodated. 48-hour shifts cannot be accommodated.
