Description
Job Summary: Sweetwater, Texas Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP). The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to develop and implement treatment plans that improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities while helping to reduce aspiration risk. This role leads, guides, and directs the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with applicable regulations and established facility policies and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 7.5 shift hours and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) experience (2 years) and a Texas license (TX).
- Additional Information: Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that help the individual be better understood and better able to understand others. The role includes leading, guiding, and directing the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures.
