Description
Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Nights (Boston, Massachusetts)
A Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position is available for NICU coverage within a level 2 and level 3 NICU/Special Care Nursery at a birthing hospital setting. The role supports patient assessment and respiratory care by performing and interpreting tests and procedures in collaboration with the healthcare team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Basic Life Support (CPR) (American Heart Association (AHA)) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years related work experience required; certification/credentialing to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy
- Preferred Qualifications: Delivery room experience preferred; level 2 and 3 NICU/Special Care Nursery experience preferred
- Additional Information: Rotating or all-night coverage may be required, with weekend rotation every three weekends (every third week)
