Description

Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Sacramento, California. This role provides outpatient therapy services for patients with conditions such as orthopedic needs (including total joint), vestibular and neuro-related presentations, and balance difficulties. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days with a start time of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (including a required 30-minute lunch); minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Physical Therapist (PT) license (License to submit: Yes); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: No additional preferred qualifications were provided.
  • Float: Float requirements were not provided.
  • Additional Information:
    • Outpatient patient volume is approximately 911 per day (10 on average).
    • Charting is completed in Cerner.
    • Floor-specific orientation is provided (12 days).
    • Weekend requirement: none.
    • Holidays: the clinic is closed half day Christmas eve, all day Christmas day, all day the day after Christmas, half day new years eve, and all day new years day (currently open the day after New Years, though it may change).
    • Cancellation policy: the facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.
    • Submission requirements: 2 supervisor references are required at time of submittal (1 reference within 12 months and 1 reference within 3 years worked).
    • Direct employment restriction: candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by facilities associated with the referenced healthcare system within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.
    • Professional attire is required (no specific scrub color).
