Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Wenatchee, Washington
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) positions provide safe and effective respiratory care by administering medically prescribed therapies, maintaining airway management, and supporting oxygen and ventilator treatment. This role includes setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment and documenting clinical records. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (E/N), 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Washington State License; Registered, registry eligible, or certified by the NBRC; graduate of an approved school of respiratory care; EPIC experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience
- Additional Information:
- Administers medically prescribed medications by understanding indications and contraindications.
- Follows indications and contraindications and established policies and procedures for therapeutic modalities, including nebulizer, CPT, flutter valve, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow therapies.
- Sets up and monitors oxygen aerosol administration and maintains oxygen cylinders in proper carriers.
- Performs artificial airway care, including ability to perform deep blind tracheal suctioning.
- Uses measuring devices as applicable, including pulse oximeter, respirometer, manometer, cuff/pressure, and oxygen blenders.
- Sets up, performs safety checks, monitors, and troubleshoots mechanical ventilators.
- Supports CPAP setup and administration of CPAP.
- Maintains accurate, legible records and documents clinical notes in patient charts.
