Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR CL) Technologist position available in Austell, Georgia. This role involves performing interventional radiology procedures in a hybrid setting, requiring a minimum of three years of experience in interventional special procedures in cardiac, vascular, or IR environments. The technologist must be able to operate independently during procedures, demonstrate competency in all aspects of vascular and interventional procedures, and communicate effectively in English. The schedule consists of day shifts from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with additional on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response time.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, four 10-hour shifts per week.
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire, including ARRT-Cardio Vascular Interventional (ARRT-CV), ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT-Vascular Intervention Rad (ARRT-VI), or RCIS - Registered CVI Specialist; BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support Instructor. Additional certifications include ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS-I - ACLS Instructor, upon hire. A minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional special procedures within IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings.
- Additional Qualifications: Ability to function independently during procedures post orientation and competency, proficiency in patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation safety, along with a clear understanding of anatomy and pathology affecting procedure quality. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and a positive attitude are essential.
