Interventional Radiology Technologist (Interventional Radiology CL) Austell, Georgia
Interventional Radiology Technologist support is needed for an Interventional Radiology role in Austell, Georgia. This position performs interventional/vascular procedures with a strong focus on patient positioning, radiation safety, and technical competency. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 shift hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures either in interventional radiology (IR), cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings; ARRT Cardio Vascular Intervention (ARRT-CV) or ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT Vascular Intervention (ARRT-VI) Radiation; Registered CVI Specialist (RCIS); Basic Life Support (BLS) or Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS-I); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire (required); ability to function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation/competency on unit and as demonstrated by being placed on call rotation; competency in interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection; required special/advanced procedure registry as outlined above; understanding of anatomy and pathology and how they affect the quality of a procedure; ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English and display a positive attitude.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor (ACLS-I) upon hire preferred.
- Additional Information: On-call coverage with a 30-minute response time; maximum 14 days on/30-day schedule; shift timing is 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with (4) 10-hour shifts.
