Description
Job Summary: Pathologist Assistant (PA), Pathology Assistant Baltimore, Maryland
A Pathologist Assistant (PA) will perform gross examination of complex surgical specimens, including dissection, description, and tissue sectioning of historical preparation. The role also includes specimen photography and radiography as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday (MF), 8 shift hours, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Pathologist Assistant (ASCP or department of an approved certifying agency); graduation from a NAACLS-accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate Pathologist Assistant training program and ASCP Board of Registry (BOR) certified, or completion of a bachelors degree with a major/minor or equivalent in any biological or allied health sciences; prior experience in a hospital setting is required
