Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Highlands, North Carolina

The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist to support Rehab Services in an Outpatient setting in Highlands, North Carolina. Responsibilities include conducting physical therapy evaluations, developing plans of care, and collaborating with the rehab team to support patient progress and discharge needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 8 shift hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CPR certification; current North Carolina Physical Therapy license; experience in a hospital and/or nursing home setting; experience in a medical setting with at least 3 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Physical therapy evaluations, establish plan of care, assist with rounds and care conferences as indicated.
  • Frequent communication with the rehab team on patient progress, needed equipment, and discharge needs.
  • Work locations may include patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and the rehab gym.
  • Documentation systems used may include Cerner and NetHealth.
  • Dress code may include business casual or scrubs.
  • Shift schedule requirements should be reviewed during interview with the rehab manager.
  • New rehab gym is planned to break ground this summer, with current plans for outdoor gym space; clinicians have full access to rehab gym and the nursing home gym.
