Description
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Roswell, New Mexico
The organization is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to support outpatient coverage with a hybrid mix of acute and ambulatory rehabilitation services. Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and support long-term wellness outcomes. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM4:30 PM, MondayFriday; minimum 40 hours per week. Flexibility may be required for weekend availability, and occasional weekend coverage may be needed depending on facility needs.
- Required Qualifications: Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP); active New Mexico Physical Therapist (PT) license (license may be pending at time of submission, but the start date must be within 6 weeks of submission and the license must be issued before the start date); at least 1+ year of inpatient experience outside of student clinicals; acute and orthopedic experience; ability to work independently as the lone PT provider in the inpatient setting; competency/knowledge in CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines; experience documenting in Medical Information Technology (EMR) systems (Cerner).
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Additional Information:
- A green scrub color is required.
- No call is required.
- Fingerprints are required for all New Mexico travelers.

- Floating may be required as needed.
