Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) Marquette, Michigan
The organization is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiac imaging and interventional procedures in a cath lab setting. Responsibilities include performing and assisting with general cath lab procedures and supporting hemodynamic and structural heart workflows. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Shift: Variable shift start times 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM; 10 shift hours; minimum 40.0 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); education/degree requirements not specified; license required; any years of experience accepted
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing or supporting general procedures including angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO, intra-aortic balloon, Impella, intravascular ultrasound, pan table, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, and wave wire; ability to support hemodynamic and other calculations; right and left heart catheterization; structural heart procedures; vascular interventional procedures including contrast administration, emergency procedures, peripheral, thoracic, and PE; experience with EP studies (training may be provided if needed)
- Responsibilities: Assist with and support cath lab procedures, including general and advanced cardiac interventional workflows; support hemodynamic monitoring and related calculations during procedures; participate in procedures across right/left heart catheterization, structural heart procedures, and vascular interventional work; support preparation and execution of EP studies when required
- Call Requirements: On call; call-in requires punching in within 30 minutes of being called in; on-call frequency depends on team staffing
- Schedule/Orientation Note: Orientation is bi-weekly
