Description

Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatrics, Miami, Florida
This position supports respiratory care for patients in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (NICU/PICU) setting. The Respiratory Therapist Registered will provide treatment, care, and patient evaluation using advanced respiratory technologies and medication delivery methods. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) experience; current NICU/PICU experience; Meditech experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with previous Meditech experience.
  • Additional Information: Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies, including medication delivery. Equipment may include high-flow devices and other advanced respiratory therapy tools, and floating to support regular adult floors for therapies such as nebulizer treatments, BIPAP, and CPT may be required. Documentation system includes Meditech.
