Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) Walterboro, SC
A Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) will provide inpatient services and support patient care across both inpatient rehabilitation and acute hospital settings, including an acute caseload and outpatient modified visits as needed. This role is expected to float between settings to assist with caseload coverage throughout the week and on weekends. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift; 8-hour shifts with flexible start/stop time, with a 1 weekend per month expectation and the option to flex a day during the week. Minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Certificate of Clinical CompetenceSpeech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP); experience with MBSS; experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: FEES certification with experience.
• Additional Information:
  • This position is expected to float between inpatient rehabilitation and an acute hospital floor.
  • Typical caseload includes approximately 56 patients on rehabilitation multiple times per week depending on frequency and need, followed by an acute caseload (varies).
  • Outpatient modified visits occur about 1 time per week (usually no more than 1 or 2).
  • Documentation is completed using Meditech.
  • Dress code: light grey scrub tops/bottoms, or black pants.
