Job Summary
Electrophysiology (CCL EP) | Saint Augustine, FL
An Electrophysiology Lab role in an adult and geriatric setting, supporting intraprocedural care through scrub/circulate/stim ancillary support. The position follows a structured onboarding process, requires completion of required EP computer-based competencies, and involves coverage with floating to Cath Lab if EP support is needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts (4x10 hour shifts), 40.0 hours per week (variable days)
- Required Qualifications:
- Licensure required; license must be brought on the first day
- RCES or RCIS
- Prior travel experience required (minimum 1 travel assignment)
- 2 years total clinical experience
- 2 years specialty experience in Electrophysiology
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Length of assignment: 13 weeks (assignment dates: 07/20/2026 to 10/17/2026)
- Shift details: 0700 AM05:30 PM; self-scheduling not available
- Weekend, on-call, and holiday requirements: none
- Orientation length: 2 days
- Required pre/onboarding competencies: EP computer-based competencies
- Patient care responsibilities: scrub, circulate, and provide stim ancillary support during intraprocedural care
- Staffing context: nurse-to-patient ratio 1:1 (ratios are estimates and may vary based on unit needs)
- Documentation system: Epic
- Respiratory services available 24/7; anesthesia available 24/7
- Equipment experience required: scrub, stim, and record
- Dress code: hospital-provided scrubs; closed-toe, non-permeable shoes; hair/beard groomed and covered during sterile procedures; nail polish not allowed; jewelry not specified
- Seasonal influenza vaccination policy (20252026): medical exemptions allowed (exemption form must be submitted with the application); staff who decline vaccination must complete an educational module
- RTO policy: no RTO during the first two weeks of a new assignment; maximum 8 days of RTO allowed for a 13-week contract; RTO not submitted at time of submission may not be approved
