Job Summary: Xray Technologist (Radiology Technologist) Cambridge, Massachusetts
The healthcare provider is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray imaging across multiple patient care areas, including inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging. This role requires flexibility to support rotating shift coverage that may include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, along with availability to work weekends. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with 8-hour shift hours and a minimum of 40 hours per week; weekly shift schedules may vary and will be posted 4 weeks in advance. Must be agreeable to all shifts and available to work weekends.
- Required Qualifications:
- Licenses: ARRT (required at submission) and Massachusetts (MA) license (required at submission)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) via American Heart Association (AHA) (current, required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the radiology/x-ray specialty (as stated in the submission requirements)
- Additional requirements:
- Up-to-date resume including the minimum 2 years of specialty experience
- Two recent manager/supervisor references in a matching specialty
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Drivers license with an address that matches demographics
- Flu vaccine required during season
- Return to work time-off (RTO) must be included at time of submission (it will not be guaranteed after confirmation)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Electronic medical record (EMR) experience: EPIC
- Additional Information:
- Supports diagnostic X-ray imaging for all age groups, including OR-related imaging (e.g., OR C-arm) and portable studies
- Familiarity with operating room (OR) imaging workflows and adaptability to various vendors x-ray equipment is required; flexibility is a key component of the role
- Float to other sites may be required (varied shifts); floating to more than one site in a single day will not be required
- Call is not required but is available
- Cannot have worked in a permanent position at any Cambridge facility
