Description
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Bemidji, Minnesota
The occupational therapist will provide evaluation and treatment for a variety of adult patient diagnoses in an acute hospital setting. Responsibilities include supporting patients with needs such as general deconditioning and posttotal joint replacement and post-op orthopedic care, along with select neuro and general medical-surgical diagnoses. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift; shift hours: 8; minimum hours per week: 40.0.
- Required Qualifications: Minnesota Occupational Therapy Licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA); at least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital experience (acute hospital setting).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the acute care setting.
- Additional Information: Willingness to float to outpatient if needed and floating to other units/departments as required; cross-training to SNF for intermittent coverage is preferred (not required). EPIC for electronic medical record; charting includes computer-based and department orientation (including 1-1 EPIC and department orientation) and badge-in/badge-out at the facility. Trauma Level: 3; acute care setting.
