Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a contract assignment in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The position involves providing external beam treatments using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators at a healthcare facility in the area. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role is a 13-week assignment with immediate start available, and it requires working 8-hour daytime shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: La Crosse, WI
- Position: Radiation Therapist
- Shift: 8-hour days (starting from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential to stay as late as 6:00 PM); shift times vary based on daily assignments flexibility is required.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday, with 8-hour unbillable orientation hours.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (RT) certification, AHA BLS certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, Wisconsin licensure, 3-5+ years of radiation therapy experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Varian TrueBeam, ARIA, and Epic EMR system.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of radiation therapy experience required.
- Additional Information: No float requirements, on-call or callback duties, or weekend/holiday requirements. The primary case includes all external beam treatments with a patient ratio of approximately 20 patients per TrueBeam system. Scrubs are at the traveler's choice. The billing period is Monday through Sunday, with an 8-hour unbillable orientation period. Candidate must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or 24 hours for a quick start.
