Description

Job Summary: Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Radiologic Technologist in Rochester, Minnesota. This role provides radiology imaging services for adolescents and adults, including radiology work and assigned areas within the operating room, while meeting established departmental standards. The position requires competence with a variety of radiology equipment and technologies, adherence to patient and staff safety guidelines, and flexibility to support varied work locations and on-call coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days (8-hour shifts), with primarily Monday-Friday day hours and PM/weekend/holiday on-call shifts (13-week assignment).
  • Required Qualifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as R.T.(R) (ARRT); ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before the start date of employment; 2+ years of Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred; associate degree preferred; experience in VIR and NIR/Stroke; experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment; Epic experience.
  • Additional Information: Provides service to adolescents and adults, produces high-quality radiology images for radiology and assigned operating room areas, practices safety guidelines for patients and support personnel, fosters teamwork through effective communication, and responds to an on-call pager that may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
