Description
Echo Ultrasonography (ULTRA ECHO) Tech Beckley, West Virginia
The Echo Ultrasonography (ULTRA ECHO) Tech role provides diagnostic imaging services in an outpatient and emergency setting, including pediatric echocardiography. This position performs ultrasound echocardiogram procedures and supports on-call coverage as scheduled. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift with call, 10 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification/Licensure required to work as an Echo Tech in West Virginia; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS); Basic Life Support (BLS); must be able to perform pediatric echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and carotid studies; ability to work independently
- Preferred Qualifications: Must have pediatric echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and carotid experience (preferred)
- Additional Information: Call requirements are 10 days per month, including evening and weekend coverage. Weekend hours are 812 hours with on-call weekends. Orientation is weekly on Mondays. Dress code requires royal blue or red scrubs; T-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable.
