Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NUC) Presque Isle, Maine
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support PET CT and nuclear medicine imaging services. The role will perform PET CTs in the afternoon and complete studies across a range of scheduled nuclear medicine exams. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating schedule; 12-hour shift days with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification; dosimeter (dose reader badge); ME State license; experience with PET CT and the following nuclear medicine exams: DEXA scans, cardiac scans, stress/rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, bone scans, and PET CT.
  • Preferred Qualifications: More than 1 year of experience is preferred.
  • Additional Information: PET CT procedures are performed in the afternoon. Shifts are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with 4/10-hour shifts. Start times rotate between 5:306:00 AM or 7:00 AM; no weekends and no call requirements are listed. Orientation is provided for 2 weeks and may vary based on skillset/comfort level. Dosimetry badge requirements apply to the role. Scrub color may be any solid professional color or as provided by the facility if needed.
