Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in Ironwood, Michigan. The physical therapist evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy Standards of practice, including documentation to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 7:30/85 MonThurs and Friday 7:30/8 until 40 hours shorter day, for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Physical Therapy; MI State Physical Therapist (PT) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC); licensure required for the State of Michigan.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should be resilient, manage change well, and be comfortable with both outpatient and inpatient (OP and IP) patient populations across the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics).
• Responsibilities: Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care according to Physical Therapy Standards of practice; documents patient care to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements; provides care for an OP and IP mix, including orthopedic and neuro patient needs.
• Additional Information: One weekend per month on call may be required, with call-back minimum of 2 hours. Vaccination policy for flu and COVID applies as described by the facility; failure to comply may result in corrective action. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is Epic EMR. Unit care includes orthopedic post-operative care (such as post op TKA, THA, TSA) and outpatient neuro needs.
