Description
Job Summary: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Washington, Missouri
Registered Respiratory Therapist responsibilities include setting up and operating therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators, providing emergency care such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, or assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and maintaining patient charts with identification and therapy information. This role requires current credentialing and the ability to deliver respiratory care in emergency and intensive care settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days (3x12) with minimum hours of 36 per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic nursery experience
- Additional Information: Duties include respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care experience; strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation; and experience with respiratory equipment.
