Description
MRI Technologist (MRI) Milwaukee, WI
The MRI Technologist role supports diagnostic imaging services by performing MRI procedures for a variety of patient types. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment and ensuring patient care needs are met during imaging encounters. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings (8 hours) with minimum availability of 40 hours per week; weekend rotation with maximum every 3rd weekend; on-call coverage includes Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with backup on-call from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled; holiday expectations are based on unit needs
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); ARRT-MR or ARMRIT; experience with outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patient imaging (including patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac experience); GE and Siemens experience required; proficiency with EPIC; proficiency required with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS; license required to be brought on the first day
- Preferred Qualifications: Patient care experience with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac experience preferred
- Additional Information: COVID vaccination required. Imaging support is provided by a lead tech/coordinator and imaging assistants, and the traveler will never be alone. Orientation includes 3 days. Weekend time off requires NM approval. Scrub color: any color as long as professional. Free parking is available.
