Description

Job Summary: Ultrasonographer Echo (Cardiovascular Sonographer) Sioux City, Iowa. The traveler will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing professional and clinical knowledge and skills to the provision and management of care for patients. The role will include performing comprehensive cardiovascular vascular ultrasound services, and the traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week. Coverage may include 12 call shifts per week and 12 weekends per month, with the possibility of working 12 of 3 designated holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
  • Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of previous cardiovascular vascular sonographer experience; at least 1 travel contract completed; active Iowa license at time of submission; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification; Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification; certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Epic experience; work history/resume/employment history must show 24 months of current cardiovascular vascular sonographer experience; Skills Checklist must be specific to the cardiovascular vascular sonographer discipline; professional reference check/performance evaluation/reference from within the last 24 months of today; drivers license document required.
