Job Summary:
The position is for a registered EEG Technologist (EEG R) located in Spokane, Washington. The role involves performing inpatient and outpatient electroencephalogram (EEG) studies for adult and pediatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is a day shift position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with scheduled hours of 10 per day.
Job Details:
- Location: Spokane, Washington
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Certifications: ABRET EEG Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) must be in hand and verified
- Educational and Licensure Requirements: Valid Washington (WA) or Compact registered nurse (RN) license in hand; valid Allied license in hand if applicable
- Required Qualifications: One year of experience as an EEG Technologist, experience with adult ICU, ambulatory EEG, ECI Brain Death, long-term monitoring/video monitoring, NICU, PICU, portable recording, sleep-deprived EEG, sleep EEG, trauma, electrode placement; Epic EMR system experience, and proficiency with specialized equipment such as Natus systems. Candidate must have completed comprehensive clinical procedures including sleep studies, continuous monitoring, and brain death assessments.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per day, a minimum of 40 hours weekly
- Additional Information: The role includes performing specialized procedures such as sleep-deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring, cerebral death assessments, and use of Natus equipment. Candidates must demonstrate compliance with travel documentation deadlines, possess or obtain necessary licenses, and be willing to float between units as needed.
