Description
Job Summary: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OT IP) Rolla, Missouri. The Occupational Therapy Assistant supports the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy treatments designed to improve patients mobility and physical health. Responsibilities include assisting patients with therapeutic and self-care activities, supporting recovery through encouragement and skill-building, and maintaining accurate patient documentation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Current PTA license; 1 year of OTA experience; LTC or rehab experience.

- Provides support to patients with therapeutic and self-care activities, including monitoring progress and adjusting support based on treatment success.
- Encourages patients during recovery and helps improve quality of life by supporting solutions to patient-specific needs.
- Assists with teaching patients, family members, or caregivers skills and techniques to support the patients treatment plan.
- Updates patient records for the Occupational Therapist and helps keep the office, treatment rooms, and equipment in good order.
- Works with injured patients to help improve motor skills with the goal of re-entering the workforce.
