Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Inpatient (IP) services in Valdez, Alaska. This position involves working within a department that primarily services outpatient pediatric populations, including hospital, long-term care (LTC), and outpatient settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers a schedule of 8-hour days, starting on 08/03/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Valdez, Alaska
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week (Days)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Licensure (pending accepted), 1 year of experience in outpatient, acute care, LTC/SNF, pediatrics; certifications in BLS; no minimum experience required beyond the experience listed; must have an active or pending license
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Travel experience is required. Housing and vehicle are provided, but accepting housing or rental car benefits disqualifies the candidate from stipends. Candidates will float within the hospital or nearby affiliated hospitals.
• Vaccinations: Hepatitis B required.
• Travel and housing arrangements: The facility provides housing in 1-bedroom apartments and a rental vehicle for the duration of the assignment. Travel and vehicle use are restricted to within 30 miles of the facility.
