Respiratory Therapist (RT) PEDS specializing in Pediatric Respiratory Therapy is needed in Midland, Michigan. The position involves providing advanced respiratory care to pediatric patients, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and responding to emergency situations including cardiac or respiratory arrest. Job Details:
- Location: Midland, Michigan
- Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) PEDS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Respiratory Therapy (Respiratory Therapist Registered) experience
- Previous travel work experience (preferred)
- Active Respiratory Therapist Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Active Michigan license or equivalent state license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Documented skills checklist relevant to pediatric respiratory therapy, current within the past year
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Additional Information:
- This role involves performing respiratory evaluations, delivering aerosol medications, responding swiftly to emergency situations, and managing oxygen therapy protocols.
- The candidate must be willing to work every other weekend.
- The position begins on 08/24/2026.
