Occupational Therapist (OT IP) Guthrie, Oklahoma
The occupational therapist will deliver inpatient therapy services by evaluating patients functional status and establishing treatment plans with measurable goals. Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs safely, completing required documentation, and coordinating with other areas to support quality improvement efforts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days (5x8) with 36.0 minimum hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current occupational therapy license; Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • Implements treatment programs safely using a variety of treatment skills and specific treatment modalities.
  • Performs patient care meeting professional ethics standards, including respecting patient confidences and providing care to all persons without regard to personality or medical problems.
  • Follows infection control Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines and completes required incident reports.
  • Performs patient documentation and communicates with other areas to meet quality improvement requirements.
  • Evaluates patients functional status and relevant medical and psychosocial factors, and modifies treatment approaches based on patient response.
  • Provides patient and family education clearly and timely, including at discharge.
  • Utilizes support staff effectively and serves as a resource person.
  • Provides appropriate orientation to new staff and assists with departmental or special projects as needed.
  • Maintains current knowledge of technical and therapeutic advances and provides education to others.
