Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current occupational therapy license, BLS certification, 1+ years of experience, location requirements applicable to this setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient or hospital therapy settings, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as EPIC
• Additional Information: The role involves evaluating patients' functional status, establishing measurable treatment goals, and adapting therapeutic approaches based on patient response. Responsibilities include patient documentation, coordination with healthcare teams, and providing patient and family education. The setting is comparable to skilled nursing facilities, with approximately 90% of care provided in swing beds and 10% in acute care. About 75% of patients are discharged to home, while 25% transfer to other levels of care. The unit employs management practices focused on quality improvement, staff orientation, and program evaluation.
