Job Summary
Mammography Tech (Mammographer) Reno, Nevada
This position is responsible for producing diagnostic mammograms, assisting the radiologist and referring physicians with mammographic procedures, and ensuring patient care while representing the purpose of the healthcare provider. The role requires proficiency in mammography equipment operation and the ability to apply technical skills to deliver high-quality imaging for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days; 10 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Mammography Tech experience (2 years) as stated; ARRT and Nevada State License (must have license before start date); Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: May be required to work 2 or 3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. The healthcare provider may call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census during a contract period.
- Certifications/License Verification (Start Requirement): Candidates must bring required license(s) on the first day.
