Description

Job Summary
Cardiovascular Technologist, Electrophysiology (EP) Hackensack, New Jersey. The Cardiovascular Technologist assists physicians with invasive cardiac procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the electrophysiology setting. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and sterile supplies, assisting during procedures, calibrating monitoring systems, and supporting hemodynamic data collection and analysis. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shifts of 11:00 AM7:30 PM or 9:00 AM7:30 PM; 5x8 hours or 4x10s; weekends and holidays as needed; on-call required.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program OR graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program OR Associate degree in Applied Science (AAS); Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of employment; within 1 year of hire, successful completion of RCIS (or Radiologic Technologist License); knowledge and ability to perform sterile scrub technique for electrophysiology procedures; experience in cath lab/electrophysiology (EP) (Cath Lab/Electrophysiology/EP Tech).
  • Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
  • Additional Information: Weekends as needed; holidays as needed; on-call required.
