Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is based at a healthcare facility located in Independence, Missouri. This role involves providing inpatient therapy services in a well-equipped environment, supporting both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation patients. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Independence, MO
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes five 8-hour days from Monday to Friday, with one weekend every six weeks. Flexibility to adjust days off if working a weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist, experience in acute care and rehabilitation, and at least 1 year of related work experience. Education requirements include a degree eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri. No minimum experience requirement is specified beyond 1 year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with inpatient hospital populations, proficiency with inpatient documentation systems such as Meditech, and familiarity with safe patient handling equipment.
• Patient Care Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and treatments for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care patients, adhering to established procedures and clinical standards.
• Dress Code: Eggplant-colored scrubs.
• Additional Information: The unit is staffed with rehab technicians, and the environment includes all normal rehab equipment alongside safe patient handling devices. The team may cover both acute care and rehabilitation units, emphasizing versatile clinical skills.
