A licensed physical therapist working in inpatient rehabilitation in Independence, Missouri. The position involves providing evaluation and treatment services within a 285-bed acute care and inpatient rehab unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This is a full-time role offering a schedule of five 8-hour days Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage.

Job Details:

• Location: Independence, MO
• Required Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) valid state licensure; no minimum years of experience required; able to work in the United States; available to start on 06/29/2026
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, from 08:00 to 16:30, with flexibility to cover weekends every 6 weeks and adjust off days accordingly
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute care and rehabilitation experience; experience with Meditech electronic documentation system is preferred
• Patient Ratios: Acute (12:1), Rehab (4-5:1)
• Department specifics: Responsible for evaluations and treatments using safe patient handling and rehabilitation equipment
• Dress Code: Eggplant-colored scrubs
