Job Summary:
Polysomnography Technician position located in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves performing sleep studies, including setup, data acquisition, scoring, and patient education, to assist in diagnosing sleep disorders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Hermiston, Oregon
- Shift Time: 3x12 (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with a schedule of Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program; Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep specialty (RRT-SDS); BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: No float rotation required.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing all sleep study procedures, scoring, troubleshooting equipment, and providing patient education in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates must be capable of working the scheduled shifts and maintaining competency through continuing education.
