Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in Portland, Maine. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services within a varied patient population, including neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), adult acute, and critical care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Portland, Maine
- Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Certifications and Education: BLS (Basic Life Support) required, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) for NICU, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required.
- Experience: 3+ years in tertiary, teaching hospital settings, level 1 trauma, NICU/PICU, adult acute and critical care.
- Additional Information: Position is a replacement for permanent staff, with a single opening available.
- Equipment Experience: Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators, Hamilton T1 and C1 ventilators, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm.
- Candidate Attributes: Flexible, team player, excellent communication skills.
