Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Portland, Maine. The position involves providing respiratory therapy services within a busy and diverse clinical setting. Qualified candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is a full-time position with variable daily assignments, and the schedule is primarily daytime hours.

Job Details:

Location: Portland, Maine
Shift: 7AM - 7:30PM (Days shift)
Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Openings: 1 position, replacement of permanent staff
Number of Beds: Varied depending on daily assignments, covering the entire facility with a team of 14-16 Respiratory Therapists
Patient Ratios: Acute patients 1:25, critical patients 1:8
Equipment: Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
Experience: 3+ years of tertiary, teaching hospital experience, level 1 trauma, NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, adult acute and critical care
Minimum Experience: 0 years
Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred), NRP for NICU (required)
Education: BLS certification required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU required
Additional Information: No. of Positions: 1/1, the role involves coverage for a facility-wide respiratory therapy team, requiring a flexible and team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills. Dress code is provided or flexible.
Float: Float rotation may be required, including NICU/PICU settings, acute care pediatrics, and emergency department.
