Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab, including prepping rooms and patients, operating imaging equipment, and monitoring vital signs during procedures. The shift is scheduled for daytime hours, with on-call responsibilities required once a week during weekdays and once a month on weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, on-call required, one weekday call once a week and one weekend a month, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. Prior catheterization (cath) experience is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include prepping the procedure room and patient using sterile technique, operating imaging equipment for panning, and monitoring patients' vital signs during procedures. Procedures include coronary, structural, chronic total occlusion (CTO), mechanical circulatory support (MCS), and vascular interventions.
