Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This role involves performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures utilizing GE equipment, interpreting patient types including cardiac, GI, pulmonary, oncology, PET scans, and DAT scans. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers consistent weekday and weekend call shifts, with opportunities to support PET scan rotations at a nearby cancer center.

- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); valid license; 2 years of experience; experience with GE equipment (any models); ability to start IVs; experience with SPECT CT; proficient in basic nuclear medicine principles and practices; good communication and interpersonal skills; primarily performing imaging on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients across various patient types.
- Schedule: Weekdays - one call shift per week until 0600 the following morning; Weekends - one weekend every 4th weekend, from Friday evening until Monday at 0600; potential holiday call shifts.
- Support on the Unit: Department supervisor and other nuclear medicine technologists.
- Charting System/Equipment: EPIC (preferred), GE 850 (preferred), McKesson PACS (preferred), Nuc Trak (preferred).
- Additional Information: For the second half of the contract, the individual will rotate support for PET scans at the Cancer Center located approximately one mile away. Orientation period of 12 hours to learn the workflow. All time off requests must be approved by management. Scrub color is any, parking is free, and there is a potential of taking a holiday call.
- Float: Not specified; rotation into PET scans at a nearby facility may be required later in the assignment.
