Description
Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves performing high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols within ambulatory and hospital environments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- Schedule: 4x10s; Monday-Thursday; 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certified; RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification; Texas state licensure preferred; 0 years of experience required; candidates must have the appropriate license brought on the first day of work
- Top Skills/Min Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, vascular experience preferred
- Additional Information:
- Performs high-quality ultrasound procedures following exam protocols
- Utilizes AIDET patient communication techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Adheres to safety, infection control, drug, and radiation policies and procedures
- Maintains equipment, supplies, and medical imaging records in accordance with department standards
- Screens individuals for safety and maintains sterile techniques during invasive procedures
- Demonstrates ability to serve as a trainer and take call if required
- Ensures timely and accurate documentation and image management using PACS, EMR, and other systems
- Maintains a professional and calm attitude even under stress
