Job Summary:
An Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory Technologist position is available in Orange Park, Florida. This role involves working in a high-tech EP lab, supporting procedures such as ablations and device implants. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position supports a team dedicated to advanced cardiovascular care within the facility.

Job Details:

• Location: Orange Park, Florida

• Shift Details: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, scheduled in accordance with facility policy. The position involves working every other weekend and holidays on a rotation with hospital staff.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or RT(R) (Registered Radiologic Technologist with registration eligibility); Education requirements; Candidate must have 0 minimum years of experience; Location in Orange Park, Florida.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced skills such as scrubbing for ablations and device implants, monitoring, and pacing ablation cases. Experience performing RF (Radio Frequency) and Cryo ablations, device implantation, Watchman, and Micra procedures is preferred.
• Additional Information: Support in prep and recovery areas as needed. Newer procedure rooms and equipment, an engaged physician champion, and a dedicated team separate from other staff enhance the department's environment. EMR system used is Meditech.
• Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts per week, with on-call not required for electrophysiology, though pick-up in the Cardiovascular Cath Lab is available if desired.
