Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an MRI Technologist in Gainesville, Florida. This position involves performing diagnostic MRI procedures in a hospital setting, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role requires working evening shifts as specified, with the opportunity to float across all MRI locations on campus.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8 Hour Evening Shifts, Monday Friday, from 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital environment with critically ill patients; Siemens MRI experience including XA and B platforms (such as Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, Sola); ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification; BLS certification; Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and reside in Florida or nearby; no gaps greater than 30 days in employment history without explanation; no non-clinical break in employment longer than 180 days
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Siemens MRI systems including XA and B platforms
- Float: Float rotation to all Gainesville MRI locations on campus may be required
- Additional Information: Position will float to multiple MRI locations on campus. FL Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) processing may take up to 14 business days. No permeable shoes allowed.
- Submission Requirements: Facility type, EMR used, Bed count, at least 1 reference dated within 12 months, vaccination documentation including seasonal influenza exemption form if applicable.
- Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic MRI procedures, collaborate with team to complete MRI exams, operate in a fast-paced clinical environment.
