Job Summary:
A Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Sonographer) position is available in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing adult echocardiograms in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with approximately seven scans per day. The assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible. The primary location is the healthcare provider's facility in La Crosse, WI, and candidates must be willing to work variable start times within the scheduled shift.
Job Details:
- Location: La Crosse, WI
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts varying from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ADN or BSN; completed Cardiac Sonography Program; current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) license; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2+ years in cardiac sonography; competent in intravenous (IV) procedures; adult echocardiography experience preferred; pediatric experience optional; previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC Charting Experience; pediatric experience (preferred but not required)

- Equipment: Willing to train on Siemens SC2000 machines
- Unit Overview: 60-minute encounters; both inpatient and outpatient
- Primary Case/Procedure Types: Adult inpatient/outpatient
- Billing: Monday through Sunday
- Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation, start within 48 hours of accepted offer (24 hours for quick start)
