Description

Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist position is located in Greenville, North Carolina, specializing in pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) settings. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day. The role involves providing respiratory care for critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients, with a start date as soon as possible.

  • Shift: 12:00 PM (Noon) to start with every other weekend scheduled days
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), North Carolina License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), 3 years of experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU/PICU, and NICU/PICU experience is mandatory.
  • Preferred Qualifications: NPS (Neonatal Pediatric Specialist) designation is preferred.
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week, with one call shift in 6 weeks.
  • Call: One call shift every 6 weeks, with provider required to arrive within 30 minutes of call receipt. The minimum call-back period is two hours, and the callback rate is 1.50x.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with schedules and must be willing to work in a NICU supporting ECMO patients. The environment emphasizes a dress code of navy blue scrubs and has an OT rate of 1.25 and on-call rate of 3.00x.
  • Credentialing Notes: Documents are due on Tuesday prior to the start date. Candidates outside an 80-mile radius can be screened if within 50-80 miles of the facility.
  • Billing Cycle: Biweekly, with a notice period of 14 days.
  • Note: No consideration will be given to new graduates or assistants.
