Job Summary:
A licensed Physical Therapist (Inpatient) position is available in Monterey, California. This role involves providing physical therapy services primarily on the Acute Inpatient Unit and the Skilled Nursing Facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a dynamic environment to work with diverse patient populations, including those recovering from neurological injuries and elderly patients with rehabilitation needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Monterey, California
- Schedule: 10 hours days, 4 days a week, with 2 weekends a month
- Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program; active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure); CPR/BLS certification
- Skills: Strong knowledge of neurological disorders and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, strong documentation and organizational skills
- Additional Information: The client reserves the right to call-off a professional up to the equivalent of 36 hours during a 13-week assignment, with no penalty or obligation to pay for the shifts. A 14-day notice is required to cancel the assignment.
