Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing adult respiratory care in an acute care setting with a focus on critical care procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Respiratory Therapy, valid license, zero years of experience required, located in Texas, and a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience in an acute care environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Adult critical care experience or ICU experience is a plus
• Additional Information: Candidates will perform standard respiratory procedures such as nebulizers, arterial blood gases, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, and transporting patients with mechanical ventilation within the hospital. Emphasis on collaboration with team members and other disciplines is important.
• Unit Notes: The department utilizes GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC; staff includes one supervisor and 7-9 staff members per shift; patient assignments are volume-based rather than patient count.
