Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Dietitian for an immediate commencement in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role involves assessing patient nutritional status, counseling patients and families, developing nutritional care plans, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds and departmental projects. The position requires a commitment to patient education and quality improvement initiatives.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field; active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential; minimum of 1 year of clinical nutrition experience; valid licensure or certification applicable in the state of New Hampshire; willingness to start immediately.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hospital or acute care settings, participation in quality improvement projects, and familiarity with departmental policies and nutritional standards.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assessing patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards, counseling patients and families, developing nutritional care plans, and participating in physician rounds, discharge planning, and departmental policy development. The position also includes conducting educational programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
