Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer (Sonographer) position in Washington is now available for candidates with at least 2 years of charge experience. This role involves working in the emergency department, performing various ultrasound procedures including neonatal, pediatric, and adult scans. Candidates are required to bring their valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of the assignment. The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule, minimum of 36 hours per week, and the ability to float within the facility as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact RN license (required at time of submission). Valid Allied license in hand (please ask account manager if unsure). Certifications include ARDMS AB (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Abdomen), ARDMS FE (Fast Exam), ARDMS OB/GYN, and BLS. A minimum of 2 years of charge experience is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within the facility.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable performing ultrasound scans on neonates, infants, and pediatric patients for conditions such as intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis. Travel staff should be prepared to float within the facility. Return Providence staff must wait three months before submitting as a traveler. All modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours of training require project manager approval. Candidates must include detailed interview availability, including time zones and multiple options, to facilitate scheduling.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of charge experience and 0 years of minimum overall experience.
  • Certifications: ARDMS AB, ARDMS FE, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS.
  • Special Requirements: Sonographer must be comfortable scanning neonates, infants, and pediatrics for specified conditions.
