Description

Job Summary:
An Ultrasonographer General position is available in Anchorage, Alaska. The selected candidate will perform a variety of general and vascular ultrasound examinations across diverse patient populations, including neonates, children, and adults. The assignment begins as soon as possible for a duration of 13 weeks. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Anchorage, Alaska
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026
  • Schedule: 5x8 hours, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS RVT are required. Pending licenses are accepted (license processing time: 10-12 weeks).
  • Experience: 0 years of minimum experience required.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, Epic charting system experience, and valid state license or pending license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal cranial exams, additional credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and vascular technology are preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). RTO (Request for Time Off) approval is on an individual basis and must be included in the submittal. References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required, including experience with charge RNs or leads if applicable.
  • Notes: Time off must be approved upon offer. No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
  • Travel compliance protocols apply, including submission of SSN and DOB at time of submittal, and adherence to the mile radius rule. Candidates will be required to work in a facility that scans general and vascular ultrasound exams and encompasses all age groups.
  • Candidate will be expected to work in an environment equipped with Epic charting and may be required to perform specialties such as obstetrics, vascular studies, and neonatal cranial exams.
