Job Summary:
Radiology Technologist position available in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, supporting physicians with imaging services, and ensuring high-quality radiographs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Detroit, Michigan
- Shift Time: Days
- Schedule: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in radiologic technology, valid license, and current registration in radiologic technology. No minimum experience required.
- Additional Information: The radiology tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures and provides technical support for radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, maintaining equipment and medications, performing exams on all patients as necessary, and rotating through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology. The orientation involves working on the ground floor at a facility with specific scrubs requirements (Radiology ceil blue, navy blue nurses, burgundy or maroon PCT). Candidates should be prepared to commit for a minimum of 13 weeks, with a maximum duration of 26 weeks.
