Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) for a travel assignment in Seattle, Washington. The role involves providing specialized respiratory care within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, RRT
- Education Requirements/Experience: 0 years minimum experience, 2 years of recent PICU experience preferred
- Location: Must be local to the area or willing to commute to Seattle, WA
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant pediatric respiratory care experience
- Previous charge experience (not required)
- Additional Information:
- The role requires expertise in adult critical care and pediatric respiratory procedures including aerosol setup, intubation, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
- Special procedures and equipment include high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP, oscillating ventilator, and tracheostomy care.
- The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, particularly with pediatric patients.
- References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process and prior to start.
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine status is unknown.
